My friend Peter had an exhibition to attend in London, and since I had never been to the city, we planned to meet up over the weekend when he wasn’t working. It wasn’t just me, his other friends from Zurich also wanted to catch up with him.

I arrived on Thursday, a day ahead of the rest of the Zurich team, which turned out to be a good thing. It gave us a chance to explore the city at our own pace. However, one day wasn’t nearly enough to see everything we wanted.

That evening, we had dinner, Peking duck, and did a bit of shopping before calling it a night.

The next day, everyone else arrived.

We all have a mutual friend, Kris from the Philippines, who works in London. He joined us for dinner at Hakassan, a restaurant he highly recommended. The place was fantastic, and so was the steak.

There’s a lively café called Joe & The Juice, perfect if you’re into loud music and a trendy, youthful vibe. Definitely a must-visit spot in London! ;)

On my last day in London, after everyone had left, I finally got the chance to do some sightseeing and visited the London Eye.
